How does MyCloud build Thumbnails?

hi, i’ve uploaded many photos to mycloud 4TB but can someone tell me how often or whether mycloud builds image thumbnails at all because i can’t see any thumbnails preview of photo or video files? is there some setting i need to put to allow the server to build these thumbnails? thanks in advance

I’d prefer more control over which file types are thumbnailed, and I’d like the thumbnailing process to work, and not hang the MyCloud.
