A "can I" and "how do I" question

  1.  I just purchased a 3 TB My Cloud.

  2.  Two computers: desktop PC with Win 7 and laptop with Win 7.

  3.  Component media system.

  4.  What I would like to do:

      a)  Connect laptop to My Cloud via ethernet.

      b)  Use My Cloud as 2nd hard drive to hold media files.

      c)  Not use My Cloud as backup drive.

      d)  Use the cloud as backup for My Cloud drive.

      e)  Share cloud files with my PC, laptop when traveling, and computers of friends when desired.

  1.  The primary goal of this setup is to have all media on one drive that through my laptop can be connected to my media system hard wired, not Wifi, and have all the media backed up via the cloud.

Can this be done?  How?  I just need directions to the directions that explain how to do it.
