I have the exact same problem on a 2 Terabyte Drive . “No backup plan found” So I go to view and restore files for my original backup plan, and receive the following message “The back destination you selected does not appear to have an inactive backup plan located there. Please select another location”
Meanwhile running behind this popup window is message stating "Validation In Progress Please Wait
I then try to create a new backup plan in the same location and I get this message “The backup destination you selected already has an existing backup plan located there. Please select another folder to create a new backup plan.”
So We have the Software going round in circles telling me yes you have one but you cannot access it.
MR Western Digital, Like similar customers here I am extremely annoyed with your product and your apathy towards addressing what appears to be a common problem.
The increased use and availability of social media sites available for customers to express their praise for various products and customer service OR it appears in Western Digitals response the lack of support or unwilliness to address a common issues to provide updates to software or firmware reflects poorly towards in the eys of customers promoting your product within the information Technology sector .
I hope you consider your core values in customer service.
