If I had to rescan it again, I’d probably not do it! It’s been collected over the last 5 or 6 years… 1,500 DVDs and Blurays safely stored away in storage locker now.
You’re the man to ask, then; what do you use for ripping DVDs?
DVD fab…
Thanks.
Oof… $49. I’m a cheapskate, and too used to free s/w…
Or use the free portion of DVD Fab (DVD HD Decrypter) which will rip the entire DVD to the hard drive, then use something like Handbrake to convert the ripped DVD to MP4 or MKV. You can even include the captions or burn then in if needed with Handbrake. Its a two step process rather than one but both programs are free.
Ohh OK I have over 4000 movies and over 15000 TV show episodes … I am now using Kodi 18 and everything is working perfect ! On OSMC which supports nfs/3 I am a happy camper I now have my HDhomerun with Comcast running smooth ! Oh and yes I looked you up on Kodi and you ARE NOT as you posted as a “I’m a Kodi developer” sorry you are NOT…
Yep and confirmed !! Kodi developer
Hmmm. Well, you might want to re-read your thread…
I have a PR merged that’s coming in Krypton and has been in the nightlies since last year.
I have other PRs in work that have not been submitted…
All you needed to do to confirm this, since you were already assuming my GIT/TRAC username is the same is look in the GIT database, and you’d have found my code…
Sheesh.
Sorry… my misunderstanding
