I am trying to add smartware to my iMac.  There are only updates on the web.  The full smartware is apparently preloaded on mycloud.  I cannot find.  Can anyone tell me how to find it from an iMac?

From find I can see mycloud and there is a smartware folder but I cannot see an option to download smartware.

Smartware is for Windows OS computers only. For Macintosh computers you use Apple Time Machine which is embedded into the Mac OS.

If you haven’t already done so read the WD My Cloud User Manual, it explains how to use Apple Time Machine to back up a Mac to the WD My Cloud.

Okay thanks for that.  I wanted to use the retore function of SMARTWARE to move photos onto my iMac… WIll try migration
