I would like to take my 4TB My Book (MB) and use it as a backup for my 8TB MCM. I currently have the MCM in JBOD configuration so when I go beyond 4TB of data I can just start using drive2 as another primary drive.
The manual is lacking in its explanation of how the USB backup works.

Can you schedule the USB backup to run everyday at a specific time?

Will the backup just add new files with subsequent runs or is it a full backup every time?

If I delete a file on the MCM and run a subsequent backup will the job delete the file from the USB drive?
