Old as Methuselah - well not quite, only 92
I have resurrected my WD TV Live Hub which I last added about 40 hours of Home Video “DVDs” in about 2011 and a few extra in 2015.
The DVDs were created from 8mm film (1952) thru Sony Digital8 Handycam and on to Mobile phone video (2015).
I now want to add some recent Smart Phone video.
My current “Editor” is Adobe Premier Elements 13 so almost as “legacy” as WDTVLH
My primary OS is Linux Mint 21 but have a dual boot Dell Inspiron 3847 with Win11 on separate 500GB HDD and other externals totalling 2T.
Once I have sorted out the WDTVLH connection to Win11 I will set up an Atlas G700 Mini PC for stand alone video editing - I think!!!
Personal stuff: Joined the Navy in 1945 (aged 14) - Retired in 1982 - bought a 42ft ocean cruising yacht and sailed the world until 1993.
