Hello. Here’s an odd one. We have a File Server comprising a MacPro with a RAID attached to it and a WD MyCloud for other bits & pieces. One of our Windows 10 PCs is unable to copy files directly from the File Server to the MyCloud and see a 0x8007003A error. Strangely they CAN copy files from the File Server to their PC and then from their PC to the MyCloud. Any ideas what’s going on? I do know that we had to enable smbv1 on the PC before it would even talk to the MyCloud - is this related?? Cheers Ed
If the rest of the Windows PC’s can copy files to/from the My Cloud without issue that would indicate a specific setting problem or issue on that one PC. If you think it may be related to Samba (SMB) see the following Microsoft article and try enabling SMB2 or SMB3 on that Windows PC.
