Hi, I bought my WD TV Live primarily to access Netflix services etc but find it is not operating at 1080p just 720p
Is this an issue with settings and how do I rectify it?
Or is this something that will be an update at a later date?
Thank you

Is the problem only occurring with Netflix?
The output will only be on HD if the content comes on that quality.

I assume that you have set up the WD player to 1080p in the video setup.
Are you getting the resolution info from your TV.

Did you just buy this? Does it look like the picture at the top of the forum? If not, you’re posting this in the wrong forum. This forum is for the older WD TV Live.

You have a newer live streaming player. With any future problems you should post in the forum below. Note the picture at the top which should be same as your player.

You may find that a moderator will move this post to the correct forum.
In the meantime have you checked your WD player video setup to make sure its connecting to your TV at 1080p.

What model television do you have?
Does it explicitly say it will do 1080p?
The less expensive HDTV’s will only do 720p.
If it doesn’t say 1080p on the box that the TV came in, it most likely isn’t capable of it.
