I’m unable to access my “My Cloud”'s dashboard since i came back from work. All I get is
Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /UI/ssh on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
I have a fairly simple setup where in I have the device connected to the router and rest of the devices connected to the router via wifi. A WPA2 connection.
I have no or negligible knowledge of Linux. And have not messed up with the device whatsoever. Hardly been 4 days since i got it. Although I’m able to access the file system and copy and use files. Not being able to access the device dashboard worried me a little. The Java I’ve checked is the latest runtime version.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

First, why are you trying to access “/UI/ssh?” There’s no such page on the My Cloud.
The error you’re seeing will happen usually if the Client and Cloud are on two different IP networks.
What’s the IP address if your cloud? (What are you browsing to?)
What’s the IP address of your client device?
I am not browsing using the ssh.
What I usually do is put in the device name i.e. http://wddevice/UI in chrome or simply wddevice which redirects to http://wddevice.
I can Ping and access the file system via my windows 8 machine although.
The machine is registered to my workplace domain. This did not cause a problem in the last 3 days.
Appearently a simple reset to the network router solved the problem so I guess your point is valid on the 2 being on different IP networks since i was bale to access neither. Thanks for the help.
