Now look, I’ll be totally honest, a lot of this technical stuff is beyond me unfortunately. But I come seeking all of your expert advice.
Now my Portable Hard Drive, wdbabm7500abk-00 750GB, has suddenly come up with a message when I trry to transfer files from my laptop to the HD. The error message is
An unexpected error is keeping you from copying the file. If you continue to recieve this error, you can use the error code to search for help with this problem
Error 0x8007045D: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.
Now I have googled this further, and have done disc checks, used command prompts to check it, and checked the status etc. All comes up clear. Everything sites and forums that are remotely relevant and that I understood, I tried doing without success.
Can anyone help me out? I have noticed there have been a few issues with this particular model when typing it in search engines.
