Notice that MKV files with AAC audio does not go through digital Audio via HDMI connection.
I have to change setting to Stereo to get AAC audio to work.
Hope it gets fixed in new firmware.
Are there any receivers on the market that will accept an AAC signal if it were passed through?
AAC 5.1 won’t work, but AAC 2.0 will work.
Try to do the Hard Reset and reconfigure everything one more time. Worked for me.
It is my understanding that the hub doesn’t pass thru AAC 5.1. I had re-encode all my mkv’s to AC3 5.1 using the popular Popcorn MKV Audio Converter tool. Worked like a charm for all my 400+ movies. It’s time consuming, but it can do directories as well as individual files.
