It seems the My Cloud can only be accessed after installing some desktop software? I purchased it hoping I could access my files through a browser from computers at my school, much like the Microsoft Skydrive. Anyone know if this is possible now or in the works?
You can very well access the files of MyCloud in Windows Explorer. Once you sign on to wd2go.com and are able to see your shares, you can click the button on the right hand side of any shared folder and it will open it up in Windows Explorer.
Alternatively, you can enable FTP and you will be able to view, read and write files using any FTP client or even Windows explorer.
