Have a WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra 4Tb NAS.
Accidentally deleted a lot of files from various different shares and they weren’t in the recycling bin (I believe it was deleted when I was fooling around with my Nextcloud Pi)
I powered down the NAS asap and haven’t touched it since.
Picked up a 2 bay external HDD dock and an additional 4Tb red drive.
Will using testdisk via Ubuntu and copying the deleted files to the new drive work? I would rather not ef this up further… any suggestions or help would be appreciated
