I am considering the purchase of a My Cloud server. We will store our photo and video files on it and should be able to remotely access them for viewing on our Iphone 5c or Ipad. I also own Apple TV. Does the My Cloud Iphone or Ipad app support airplay for wirelessly streaming the photo or video to Apple TV?
I do not have an Apple TV so I am unable to confirm if the app supports AirPlay. Hopefully another user with the same equipment will be able to confirm.

Can confirm the app works like a dream, i move all of my movie and image content onto the cloud in mp4 format, when you use the WD Mycloud app on your ios device it supports an airplay function. Its a brilliant way of storing things, if you do find content that isnt in mp4 format and cant convert it, the iPad has a version of VLC you can donwnload which will even connect to your local network or FTP which also streams to AirPlay. I used to use that method until i found a decent convertor on the app store. The VLC player doesnt work on the iphone though so you’re better playing it through the WD Mycloud app.
