I activated my cloud backup on my android device and after backing all files up to my ex2 ultra I noticed that all pictures had

the same date/timestamp, the one when they were backed up.
that makes it utterly unusable for organiszing your pictures. Why does this happen, and how do I change that?
Also theres files in the DCIM folder that weren’t backed up. A backup thats not reliable is useless, i guess.
@Spacelordmafia While I don’t have a EX2, I have the WD My Cloud. Here are a couple of photos taken by me, the first with my old Samsung Galaxy S6 and the second with my Samsung Galaxy S7 that I have now. I viewed them on my Desktop PC, Windows 10 using Photos. Click on, tap or activate images to enlarge them.
What Android device are you using and how are you viewing the backups?
As you can see from the second photo I can go forward or backward to look at the photos and their information. My photos are in the order that I took them.
All right I reviewd the exif data with another tool, and the original date is still in there in the exif, but the files meta data is wrong.
So the question is, why is the “created by” date wrong in the files meta data (not exif)?
Why does that get corrupted by transferring files to the my cloud?
@cat0w whats shown in your Windows Explorer as created by date?
