I am from India. I have to RMA a HDD (WD Caviar Black). It is failing. So i did some tests to confirm that the drive change is needed. So i tried calling up the customer care to know the process or if there are any service centers in my city where i can personally go and drop the stuff there, it is more helpful that shipping it to them. But to my surprise… for the past 3 days i have been trying to call up the customer care number and all i hear is that the all lines are busy. I have made more than 20 calls by now. And i cant be unlucky so many times. I even tried holding on to the line so that i get connected but unfortunatetely had no success. If this is the type of service that a customer can get then I would request not to sell products in the country of concern. I dont know if anyone would act accordingly, so just venting my frustration. If anyone has any advise of getting an RMA done in India, please do let me know.
