I just bought WD TV HDD when I play my (mp4 video h264 with aac audio) HDD movies from torrent if I fast forward it the audio gets out of sync and falls behind I have no clue why it does it, but if I don’t fast forward its fine have tried many ways like pausing it for a while, rewind a little but nothing, the picture is so crystal I love it if I let it play from start to end without fast forwarding its fine then,i have no idea why this happens

Poorly mastered ■■■■ from the internet (bit torrents) will have these issues. Don’t fast forward through them, or make the files yourself (and make them into MKV files) and you won’t have any problems. You can try remastering them (use Handbrake and the High Profile preset but change the output type to MKV) but the best thing is to start with the original source (which you DO own, right?).
no, mkv and avi files no problem at all only with mp4 H264 i have 100s of movies in mp4 and it would be so much pain to convert them to mkv,but i play the files on my plasma via the usb out put the mp4 is not problem with fast forwarding but ofcourse the quality is not as the full HDD
Don’t expect WD techs to help, I got censord for posting a link to another type of media player that does not have the audio sync problem, can’t beleive the only update they have had for the second gen is and update to improve the downloader updater ?
After all these people complaining , you woudl think they would see that there is a problem/ I guess they figure they already have our money so nuts to us.

Where exactly is your censored post? I believe you now have a ASUS and I can see the link you posted.
