Audio playback specs 24/96

Does the WD Live TV Hub support audio playback for flac or wave files that are 24 bit (or above) and sample rates of 96 or above? If not, are there any plans to come out with firmware that will do this?

I know that FLAC and WAV files show up as supported in the manual. I don’t know the supported bit or sample rates. But I think if you contact tech support they might give you that information. Or maybe another user from the forum can verify that for you.

All the Flac and Wav files that ive tried matching those specs have played back properly as indicated by the correct display on my A/V receiver. I have the Hub connected to the receiver via HDMI so I can’t vouch for the analog or optical audio connections passing the signal without downsampling but I expect it should work.
