what happened to being able to have one folder per months when the photos and video where auto synced into the cloud ?
i use to be able to do that but now i can seem to configurate it this way

You can only autosync your photos from your computer to My cloud device by using WD Sync software.
Refer to the below online User Guide and Solutions of WD Sync for more information:
WD Sync doesn’t run on Android, does it? See the thread title.
So WD Sync is not the solution in this case.
The OP is asking if there is a way to get the Android Mobile app to sync photos and videos into by month folders.
IME, no. It won’t even copy the files dates correctly when it uploads media.
You used to be able to do that with WD Photos. Supposedly it was discontinued but I’m still able to use it on my phone. I like that functionality better so I keep WD Photos on my phone.
