Is it possible to automatically back up iPhone photos and videos to mycloud?
Hello, Welcome to the WD Community. It is possible to auto-upload you photos and videos from the iPhone to the My Cloud using WD Photos and WD My Cloud applications that can be downloaded in the Apple store.
Connect your iPhone to your computer to be ready to backup iPhone photos, a message should appear in the bottom right hand corner of the task bar saying that new hardware has been found. Select the message box to backup iphone photos. Then go through the installation wizard that opens. Continue to select the boxes that say that you do not have an installation CD or that you want to use the internet to find them. Soon, the wizard will install the iPhone as a Still Camera device. When the wizard exits, go into My Computer and your iPhone will be there, usually displayed as “Apple iPhone”. When you click on it you will be able to view all of the photos on your iPhone. I still cannot figure out how to transfer video to a Windows-based PC.
