Backup from EX2 Ultra to MyCloud Single Drive

Hello,

I’m trying to backup some folders on my EX2 onto my single drive MyCloud. I went to the “remote backup” section under backups (from my EX2) and proceeded to log in to mycloud.com account but my mycloud single drive is not showing up.

Is it not possible to backup since it’s a single drive?
Can I log in via SSH method? (I tried this but didn’t seem to work)
Is there another method I should be using instead?

I’ve tried doing it by connecting to the MyCloud Single Drive as a NAS Server but when trying to open the destination folder I get this error:

Remote Backup cannot proceed due to an SSH access failure.

Remote Backup cannot proceed due to a failed RSYNC Test.

I’ve created a new password when I SSH’d into MyCloud for the first time as directed.

Can this not be done this way?

Page 47 of the user manual says:

“Back up your My Cloud EX2 Ultra device to another My Cloud EX2 Ultra or a My Cloud
EX4 device.”

I read this while searching online but it doesn’t say how to back up to a Regular My Drive (non ex2 or ex4.) I wanted a way to backup certain folders not the entire drive to a single my cloud drive. Using the NAS Server option supplying SSH password and router IP does not allow me to connect and MyCloud Option doesn’t bring up the drive to select.

Can anyone confirm that I can’t backup to a single MyCloud drive from my EX2 Ultra? I’ve tried several times by either using NAS Server and MyCloud.com accounts but Server doesn’t connect and myCloud.com account won’t list the single mycloud dirve to choose.
