I have set up my cloud home duo (8TB) tonight. According to the documentation, after tapping the Activity icon on the bottom menu bar, I should tap the Photo Backup function in order to backup my photos in my iPhone. But there is nothing I can tap. What can I do?
I have enabled the auto backup function to backup my photos and videos on my iPhone. But the app shows nothing about the backup progress. When I check my cloud, there are two folders, namely Family and Plex. But the Family folder is empty and Plex folder contains empty folders only. I have no way to know if my cloud had backed up anything or not. I cannot find any photos or videos in my cloud. Please help!
Thanks!

there is nothing in activity to backup the mobile device photos. You can either use the + button to upload photos or you can turn on auto backup. If you are using auto backup it will take some time to index the files and start the backup. It is best if you leave the app active to get the backup started. If you put the app in the background iOS can stop the app even if you have background uploading turned on.
From the FAQ linked above.
What happens when I switch ON the auto backup?
After you toggle the feature to ON, the app will start indexing and calculating the number of files on your camera roll. This will be reflected as an app badge icon, shown on your phone’s home screen. After the app has calculated the total number of files, which can vary given the size of your camera roll, it will start uploading a copy of your files to your “My Cloud Home”.
Note:
The app badge icon number will decrease as your media is uploaded.
