Best way to back Up My Book World(White Light)

I habe a 1TB My Book World.  I bought a My Book World Essential to connect to it via USB and back it up.  What is the best way to do that?  WD SmartWare doesnt seem to do that, it only wants to back up my PC.  WD Anywhere Backup seems to do the same thing. 

I can copy the files manually via Windows but it takes ages via the network.  I’d rather there was an automatic way of doing that.  In fact I thought that was the idea of the USB on the back of the My Book World, to connect another drive, and if you do that what not back it up?

The USB port on the My Book World gives you the ability to get more storage if the drives are getting full.

You can copy from the drive to the MBW and vice versa using the copy manager option.

You can try mapping the USB share and using a third party software to backup from the computer to the USB drive connected to the MBW.
