The two EX2 Ultras are hidden behind the printed brownish book splines in the middle row. Since I did this for the single drive My Clouds, I thought I would post my update here instead of the dead Ex2 Forum.
Why would I do this? yes I have too much time on my hands and actually I wasn’t going to do it but after finding the book splines on the internet and after resizing the splines and printing it and after cutting them out and double side sticky taping them to the device to see how ugly it would turn out to be, I decided to keep it so it would be less eyesore than two black box with alien blue led blinking. It is just haphazardly cut and stuck on the fat EX2s.
When I have more time in the future, I might build a frame structure or mold some clay behind the printed paper splines to give it a 3d curvature that would then clip on to the EX2.
Ever heard of Stephen King?

I have not
why do you ask?
Well, at least SOME of the books are by other authors… I see at least one Koontz in there…
(But I must admit, horror was never really my genre.)
Back on topic, I would be worried that the covers don’t breathe well enough, considering that they have a tiny little cooling fan trying to keep two spinny disk drives cool in there. I would be more interested in printed spandex covers that are porous, and would let the air through.
The EX2 Ultra has a solid plastic front and the fan cooling s.ucks from bottom up and exits through the top grill so no spandex needed
apparently s.ucks is a bad word in here.
Actually I’m a Sci-fy reader and I think the Stephen Kings which accidentally happens to be on one bookshelf are the left overs from my original vast book collections as I discarded thousands of books each time I move as well as three children who scours my wall for reading material and leaves the unwanted books behind, hence Stephen King, Koontz and all the unreadable like Robin Cook, John Grisham
I am really happy that ebooks came along.
