C volume on DX4000 keeps growing at a fast pace

I have a DX4000. The C volume has been growing steadily at a fast pace for quite some time. I have increased the size of the volume, but that’s just a patch as it keeps growing, even around 3GB in a day.

Any tips about what to do? How to find out what the cause is?

Thank you very much!

I would use something like windirstat to see what is using the space then google that file(s)

Thanks, Gramps, I managed to empty quite much space by deleting the content of Windows>Temp, but will give your solution a try.

  1. Check and empty c:\windows\temp. DX4000 leaves lot of big files there
  2. Check and empty c:\windows\logs\CBS\CBS.log sometimes these log files become huge

see also CBS.log file HUGE

Thank you, DTMtech! I’ll try deleting the CBS folder as well if needed.

In my case that was the main source of problems related to lack of space (I found almost 20 Gb of useless log files)
