Can not reinstall the My Cloud

Hello!
I sucessfully installed a 3TB My Cloud on my iMac.
Then I could not manage to copy my files on it and I failed in starting and using the Dashboard.
So I decided to uninstall all WD programs from the Computer and to reset the My Cloud with a 40 seconds reset.
Now I weant to install the My Cloud again, but it does not work. When I run the Installation program the My Cloud can not be found in the netwerk (although every cable ist pluged in, everything is connected).
Strangely I can see the My Cloud in the finder of the iMac. But I can not use it. When I want to enter the Dashboard it does not work because the My Cloud is not installed on the Computer.

Somewhere in the process I mus have made something wrong! Can anybody help me?

Device setup appears to be one aspect of operation that was affected by the problems WD were having.

Having said that, yours sounds more like a local network problem if you can’t access the Dashboard. If you can access the Dashboard, you can set up the MyCloud without needing the automatic setup tool.

How is your device connected to the Mac? Directly? Or via a router or switch?

How are you trying to launch/access the Dashboard? You should be able to access it in Safari, by entering http://wdmycloud.local in the address field.

Can you find out the IP address of your MyCloud in your network (via the router control panel, for instance), and then enter that IP address in a web browser?
