Can warranty expirations be changed?

I just purchased three WD Red 4TB drives from two different online stores. These were all purchased within the last two weeks, but their manufacture dates were in July and August. Their 3 year warranty expirations range from August to November.

How can I get a _full_ three year warranty on these products based on my purchase date? I tried registering all three drives, but their warranty expiration dates remained the same.

Which didn’t answer the question. Does WD routinely update warranty expiration dates upon request, according to purchase date? I know where to find support.

Hi JJ_Johnson, if you call or email support they will request a proof of purchase to update the warranty to the correct date.
