I recently had to switch computers from a mac to a toshiba, ive been all over the internet trying to find out how to retreive my files from my passport and i simply cant. The only thing i can do is veiw the passport properties. I need help. the more detailed instructions the better.

Unfortunately if your drive is formatted for Mac then Windows will not be able to read the drive. Windows is not able to read a drive on Mac format.
In order to retrieve your files you will need to do it on another Mac computer.
