Cannot reset Support Portal password

I’m trying to RMA a drive but I forgot my password and cannot change it.

I got the same problem.

Here are the steps I did:

  1. I click on “I forgot my password"
  2. I entered my email
  3. I receive email instructions from WD
  4. I followed instructions by putting temporary password and my new password
  5. But I’m getting an error that I’m inactive

I cannot register because WD says I’m already registered. But I cannot login because WD says I’m inactive. What is going on? How can this problem be fixed?

I have contacted Support but no response.
