I can’t delete files on my network drives. I can play them fine. When I try to delete them through file management it tells me it’s a read only file. I have checked permissions and they all say full access. I have a live plus with windows 7 . I am running the original firmware not the beta.
They say full access for “everyone”? Because you’re most likely logged in as anonymous, correct?
And did you actually check the file yourself in file management to make sure it doesn’t have the read only attributes marked (because there are a number of levels of read only access – log in permission is only one of them).
Other people are reporting the same thing; I need to go try this myself some time!
I’ve been able to do this for quite some time – but I have not updated my firmware to any of the betas for either the Plus or Live.
It is set for full access for everyone. It does not ask me for a login. I am not using the beta.
