Cant find the Activation Code

hello I have recently purchased the My Book Live network hardrive.

I am trying to get the activation code to connect my iphone to my hardrive, but i cant seem to find were i get the activation code from. I have tried going to settings > remote acces. But there is nothing there about enabling access for your mobile device.

Why is this??

You need to update your My Book Live to the latest firmware (version 2.00).

Hi WD people. I too am temporarily stumped by the location of the WD Photo access code for my iPad. Have upgraded firmware on MyBook live and re-booted PC.

I had the same problem yesterday, I had to manually download the update to my pc, the update from there.

After that was installed, activation code showed up.

What do you mean manually installed, I just bought it today, I’ve search all the updates and cannot fine any enable option under configuration or remote access. Under configuration I’m having a link to another website. I’ve registered my email every where hoping to find something. Why can we just have a basic 3 steps in getting this code? For me it’s a hassle. Can any one help me get this code? Thanks

In your web browser type in mybooklive and hit enter. it should promt you to login if you have already set up my book live on your computer. Go to settings, remote acress and them mobile acess. You should use admin or what ever name you have authorized them click get code, type it in to the phone them hit connect and your good! :slight_smile:
