Hi guys, I have a problem that I have never seen before! My Book Live just doesn’t open the dashboard. At any way! No matter if I write the IP or http://mybooklive, it does not open. I read something about restoring to factory settings without using the dashboard, but I think I need to activate SSH, which is not possible because when I type http://mybooklive/ssh, it appears a white page (that´s what happens when I try to open the dashboard too). Does any one has an idea? Please help me! I have already tried to send 2 emails to wd support, but I got no answer.
Have you tried doing a hard reset of the unit? And by any chance, have you change the name of the unit?
Also you can connect the drive directly to any computer with the Ethernet cable and it will show up under network with the current name of the unit and you will be able to try accessing the dashboard

Thank you for your message! Unfortunately I have already tried to connect my Book Live directly to my two pcs, but everytime I try to open the dashboard, a black page opens. But, what do you mean with “hard reset” If it is that button behind My Book Live, I have also tried it. And I didn’t chance the name of the unit… Do you have any idea?
