Can't see any folder on Share server, please help. Newbie

It sees my pc, but when I click on it it says that there are no folders at the moment. I am trying to stream files from my pc laptop running windows 7. any suggestions? I am a little disappointed on this wdtv live hub media center. even when I try to transfer files to the internal harddrive I get about  55 minutes to transfer a 6.5GB Mkv file.  I was better off with the external usb drive and hooking up to my old wdtv.

Any feedback is welcome. thanks.

I had a similar problem and tried so many things until it finally worked. I don’t know your setup and what you’ve already done but besides making sure you have the right permissions for your shares; try the following:

Go to the HUB and change the WORKGROUP to whatever your WORKGROUP name is. NOTE: Even if your WORKGROUP is in fact WORKGROUP, go ahead and retype WORKGROUP (the HUB will attempt to re-join the workgroup).  Then, restart all your devices PC and Hub. Lastly, turn Media Library OFF and ON again to force the Hub to look for files again.
