Can't upload photos w/ App

I haven’t been able to upload photos using WD Photos app. This is both on my android phone and Samsung galaxy tab 3. The devices just kind of hang the app just displays:

0 / 6 item uploading…

0KB / 4.03 MB file upload.

I’ve left this thing alone for hours and no progress on both devices. I’ve also tried rebuilding the database with no luck, if anyone can shed some light as to what might be happening I’d really appreciate it. My phone has months and I mean months like this I just haven’t really had the time to investigate till now.

Are the affected mobile devices within the same Local Area Network as your Personal Cloud Storage unit? Or, do they communicate remotely using an internet connection?

My phone connects both through wifi when I’m at home and remotely using my cell service when I’m away and neither works it never uploads, my tablet I only use at home through the wifi and it has the same problem. There are also times when there are triples of every picture I’ll scroll down on the photo app and the exact same pictures show up repeatedly. 

I’ve tried factory restoring both devices, rebuilding the database. I did a full factory restore on the Mybooklive and nothings working so I’m now thinking there might be a problem with the app.

This being the case, does the WD My Cloud application work for uploading instead of the WD Photos application? I would like to confirm if it is related to the device itself and the connection regardless of the application.

Yeah the my cloud app works just fine on all devices
