Capacity?

I just started looking at a my cloud mirror and had a question regarding the capacities listed.

Are these capacities shown the total drive capaties or the effective capacity of the RAID array?

E.G., is the 8TB unit two 8TB drives mirrored or two 4 TB drives mirrored for 4TB effective capacity.

Any solid info is greatly appreciated.

If you read the sticker on the front of the box where it says 8TB in the fine print it says 2 x 4TB drives included, 3.82TB available for user content in factory RAID 1 mode.

At this time there is no such thing as a 8TB Western Digital hard drive that has been released anywhere.
