what I have to do now? RMA or try to repair bad sectors? how?

tnx

You’ll have to RMA it,Btw there’s a bootable version of DLG diagnostics,Do keep that in mind next time,Just sayin,You can test a new HDD without actually installing anything on it.

Try a comprehensive SMART diagnostic. Look for reallocated, pending, or uncorrectable sectors.

HD Sentinel (DOS / Windows / Linux):

HDDScan for Windows:

See this article for SMART info:

here the smart  with HDDSCAN. what can I have to do now?tnx

The SMART report is telling you that the drive has already replaced 23 bad sectors with spares (Reallocated Sector Count), and 7 more sectors are “pending” reallocation.

The Raw Read Error Rate attribute has fallen below its threshold value some time in the past, so that’s another bad sign.

I would try to replace your drive at your place of purchase. Your vendor should give you a new drive whereas WD will most probably supply a refurbished unit.
