Lile a nitwit, when I activated my MyCloud device, I spelt my name wrong – Wulliam instead of William. This will drive me nuts.
Is there any way I can modify this? I’m just getting set up, so can I wipe it out and start over.
Feeling dumb
Go to the dashboard and under Users click on your user name. If this is where you misspelled it change the spelling and save.
Tried that. Didn’t change MyCloud folder name. Thinking about doing factory reset.
You said you wanted to change the spelling of your name not a share name. Did you try changing the share name under the share tab? You can always delete that share if it won’t change and recreate it with the correct spelling.
