I have a WD drive, which has all of my video files. I use the built in player to watch them on our PCs, tablets, and phones. However, I would really like to see the WD app be compatible with Chromecast. I would think that WD would prefer its customers continue to use their app, instead of going through a third party. I have not found information about chromecast in other communications from WD. Please advise if you know any updates on this topic.
Your post sounds more like an Idea or a Feature Request. The best place for this is in our Ideas Exchange. This way someone from WD will be sure to see it. However, I would search first and make sure that there isn’t another idea similar to yours that you could add your post to and vote on.
