Hi,

  1. Is it possible to connect My Book Live directly to WD TV Live ? If it’s possible, is there any special UTP cable that i have to buy ? cross over or straight cable ? or can I use UTP cable from the box (My Book Live) ?

  2. Is it possible to connect My Book Live directly to computer ? if it’s possible, is there any special UTP cable that i have to buy ? cross over or straight cable ? or can I use UTP cable from the box (My Book Live) ? Is there any special set up in my computer or My Book Live?

The answer to your questions are both yes.   IIRC, any normal cable will work in either situation.

But now a question of my own:  Why would you want to do this?  A NAS is rather expensive way of adding direct-attached storage.  USB is a far less expensive option.
