I’ve a router and a switch, I want to share media contents from windows media player (windows 7) to the WD live. My network topology: PC connected to the router > router connected to the switch > switch connected to WD Live > WD Live connected to TV. I am using Cisco router and switch, I’ve to use both of them for some reason. I tried assigning IP address and pinged from my PC to WD Live, no packet loss, but I can locate the device on my windows media player. Can someone please help me in this situation. What combination of IP address should be assigned to PC, Router, and WD Live. Any help would be highly appreciated.
