have moved house and havent used Mycloud for ages ,can access files through desktop but cannot access wd dashboard anymore,do i need to do the 40 reset ? my computer knowledge is v basic so i may be missing something obvious, when i click on the dashboard icon it times out and is unable to locate
Generally its a good idea as a troubleshooting step to perform a 40 second reset of the My Cloud when having access issues. Could be the IP address settings for the local network have changed or one set a static IP address within the My Cloud (and forgot the address) rather than reserving the IP address within the router’s DHCP server.
