My 1 TB WD My Passport Ultra has been crashed and undetected by computer even when using different cables and different computers. Also it makes a rotating disk noise when connected to the computer. However, when using data recovery softwares like testdisk, stellar I’m able to access the data but the scan itself is taking too long and the data transfer even longer which seems to be not a practical solution. What could be the reason for the damage? Please suggest data recovery solution or in the worst case, companies providing data recovery service for this issue?
