Hello, I just got onto MyCloud 5 and am happy that it has auto-backed up my iPhone XR photos! However, I’d like to delete the photos from my phone to make space. Will this delete them from my MyCloud 5? My machine is a PR2100. I’ve searched the community threads but haven’t seen an answer yet. Thank you!
No this will not delete the photos from your My Cloud. However, you will no longer have a “backup copy” of the file if there is a single copy located on the My Cloud. Highly recommend having a second copy even if it’s via NAS to USB backup.
Okay thank you! I’ve got my PR2100 doing it’s own backup for now. Will look into another backup drive as well. Really appreciate the peace of mind and recommendation!
