I’ve been tinkering with my Live Plus for several hours now, to try to get the music filenames to be displayed. Not having much luck, so I’m wondering if this is an issue with my unit or a known issue with the firmware.
When I go to settings and switch between display by filename or display by title (Music settings → Audio track display), I’m not seeing any difference in how the tracks are displayed in the folders when I access music on my Live Hub (as a Media Server). This is important because I want the tracks to play in the order in which they appear on the albums, not alphabetically.
The “display” in the options, I believe changes what is desplayed by the media player while the media is playing… it doesn’t change what order the browser lists the files as.
What order do they play in if you just click “Play” on the album folder?
In playback, I’m still seeing the title, not the filename.
Tried pressing play on the folder - still getting the songs in alpha order.
When I go to “by Album” rather than “by Folder”, then I get the songs in the right order (“not” alpha), but they are still not being displayed by filename.
When I access the Live Hub as a Network Share, as opposed to a Media Server, I can see the files in the folders by filename and they play in the correct order.
If I switch to Media Server, I’m back to seeing the files by song title, despite having the settings set to display by filename.
I’d leave it and just access the Live HUb as a network share, except that I find the auto-login to be hit and miss.
