I previously posted about not being able to get the DLNA Media Server to play tracks in the right order. I thought that the server was offering up tracks in file name order, ignoring any number inserted at the beginning of the file name.
However, through trial and error I have confirmed that the DLNA Media Server works off the Title as displayed in the tag. I had to go through my collection and ensure that the title field started with a track number (I used the mp3Tag program to sort them all out) and since then (fingers and toes firmly crossed) everything plays in the right order.
I’m posting this up in case it might help anyone else experiencing the same problem.
