Today I went to play Youtube… it would open, I could search and see results, but playing a video would not happen at all… it showed that the video was 3:11 long. Never played. I hit home. Tried again. No luck. Tried YouTube Leanback, no luck.
So, now I switch to Vimeo. It freezes up on me… I could not get the unit to respond. I had to pull out the power cord and plug back in.
So, I open back up YouTube and this time that same video I was trying to play earlier, it now says it’s over 11 minutes long. It goes to play it… the progress bar on the bottom starts moving, but no video. It frequently pauses, but in a few minutes gets to the end. The “related videos” pop up afterwards… I hit the Play Again button and it pops up an error message that the WD doesn’t play that format… see the manual for a list of supported formats, or something like that.
I don’t remember when, but awhile later YouTube started working. I played my video while cooking dinner.
After dinner I went in the games… Blackjack played for a bit but quit out on me back to the main menu. I didn’t bother going back in because blackjack is boring anyway. Next up, Texas Hold Em. Played for a bit and quit out on me.
Then I went to the other game thing (you know how there’s two apps for games) and played that game with squirrels. It played for awhile, but then kind of got “laggy” on me and the sound disappeared. The lag was too bad at times, so I hit home. Now the whole unit seemed laggy, browsing menu laggy, etc, so I restarted it. It then started to behave again.
