Drive failure on WB2 blue rings

Hi,

I’ve got my wb set up for mirror, so no loss of data phew! but the internal drives are I think now obsolete Western Digital7500AAKS; even getting hold of a 750Gb drive is proving to be a pain; I need recommendations for an equivalent, or would I be able to dump both drives and bung a couple of 1Tb units in instead?

My ideal solution would be to get anohter Western Digital7500AAKS drive but any help would be appreciated

If its still under warranty just RMA the whole unit and WD will handle all that for you. If it’s not, you need to make sure the internal drives match exactally… so your best bet would likely be ebay.
