My Book Live is very slow when I transfer large files from a Windows 7 gigabit PC to BookLive HDD, is there any reason why the drive inbound take is slow? The HDD is connected straight to my gigabit router and the Windows 7 is also connected directly via LAN.
do a search here for “webdav”. You can run a net use command to see how the drive is connected. Lots of people with windows 7 boxes, the drive connects via webdav and that affects intra-network transfers. You just need to unmount or disconnect the map and try again.
Have you tried copying files using FTP? In my case it is faster, you can try and see. FileZilla is a free FTP client, and you can enable it on the dashaboard
