Does anyone know where I can get the DX6100 Server 2012 r2 download from WD (with the essentials). I would like to have it incase I ever have to reinstall on the box.

You need to find Windows storage server 2012R2 on the web the add the WD customizations

No, it is not different, but when I asked for this everyone wanted me to download windows 2012rs2, then the essentials then all the tweaks. I spent weeks with WD getting them to finally point me in the correct direction. Sorry, I didn’t know you had it.

When you said the sent a link I searched to see if it was public. But the Download I got was ~300 gb. Not big enough for windows. Have you tried it?

to be proactive you should stick a small drive in and see what it does 
Good point, but I made a usb from your info, added server2012r2 with essentials, marvel drivers and a directory for wd which I will copy when they system is up and stable and run the install batch.
